Way to finish the route on scary rotten snow! We had a little bit of that, but no evil cornice, and the pitch of rock climbing we did was dry and solid enough to use boots and hands instead of tools. Great Trip Report. We decided to go to a less lofty objective, Rainer this weekend. We planned on skiing the Nisqually chutes. I've been itching to ski them every time I go but we were thwarted by a late start and a 3 ft Slide that traveled all the way to the bottom of the chute. Slap, slap. Maybe next time . . .
